This is the first concert of the new percussion duo HalLó. For their debut, Halldór Eldjárn and Svanhildur Lóa Bergsveinsdóttir get together in Mengi, at Óðinsgata 2, to fill up the room with rhythm and texture.
Mengi is a very special venue, known for its focus on great music and excellent programming. Even though the group is debuting, Halldór is becoming a household name and a Grapevine favourite, so it is bound to be a great premiere.
That said, this show shall not live off drums alone, as Unnur Jónsdóttir is expected to join with her cello for one of the pieces. The show is at 21:00 tonight and tickets cost 2000 ISK.
