A new project in the works by Icelandic filmmaker Baltasar Kormákur is generating a lot of buzz among film studios.
The ‘Djúpið’ director is in the midst of developing a thriller about prison inmates being released during the days to serve as hired hit men for crooked politicians. The plot is based on real-life events, Deadline.com reports.
Another film, ‘On the Job,’ recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and addressed the same series of events.
