Icelanders are sometimes said to be reserved. So we at Grapevine decided to do a few of our reserved countrymen a favour and ask Reykjavík’s faces some of the questions looming on everyone’s mind…

Name: Tamara
Age: 24, student in Bergen, Norway
From: Ontario, Canada

What would you do if you had a time machine?
Go to Norway in the year 800 to see the Vikings.
If you had a boat, what would you name it?
The Victor, after my dad. He’s strong and sturdy like a boat.
What was the last thing you purchased?
Vitamin fusion tea.
What do you want?
I want to live the best life for me, with little things like a good breakfast, people who make me smile and sun.
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
I’d make it easier to move around; people benefit so much from travel.
What music are you listening to?
Music I’m listening to: 1930s blues, Skip James.
