Francophiles of Iceland unite! Today sets off the 20th edition of the French Film Festival in Iceland, a partnership between the Alliance Française in Reykjavík, the French Embassy in Iceland, the French Institute and Bió Paradís. The Festival will take place in Bió Paradís until the 2nd of February and will also hold screenings in other parts of the country (Akureyri, Ísafjörður and Egilsstaðir).
Today, two french movies will be screened to honour the festival: La Belle Époque and Portrait Of A Lady On Fire. Both films will have two sessions, one with English subtitles and another with Icelandic subtitles.
