Pálmi Hannesson, a hiking tour guide for Arctic Adventures, is here to give you a little insight about what’s entailed in his day-to-day life on the job. After deciding in 2013 that he needed to work outdoors, he tried his hand at many different types of tours, his background as a mechanic and working for an Icelandic rescue squad gave him a lot of the know-how and experience that his helped him on the job. Today, he takes great pride in not only teaching visitors to Iceland how to both enjoy and respect Iceland’s dynamic climate, he is also proud to show newcomers the natural wonders of our one-of-a-kind landscapes.
