On May 30, Red Bull’s Transatlantic Off-Road Challenge revved up the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur in South Iceland. The yearly race —the largest of its kind in Iceland— featured riders of all ages competing in a special type of Motocross called Enduro. Enduro describes on-road/off-road racing on tracks longer than 200 km. Each rider races against the clock. Speedy bikers Guðbjartur Magnússon and Gunnlaugur Karlsson won the overall contest by finishing 16 laps of the course in 6 hours and 5 minutes. Wow!

Our photographer/motorcycle-enthusiast Art Bicnick was there to capture it all. Don’t worry, he wore a helmet.
