The French tourist who was found dead in Dritvík on the Snæfellsnes peninsula on 28 March has been identified.
Yesterday Akranes police released a picture of the man to the press in hopes that the general public could assist in providing his identity. After the picture was released the police received information from several sources and have determined an identity. The only information that has been released at this point is that he was 30-years-old and French. Police are contacting his family.
